Abstract

The current research effort explains the phenomenon of counterproductive work behavior among employees of higher education sector of South Punjab, Pakistan. The data was collected from 308 academic employees of public sector as simple random sampling technique was implied, furthermore Smart-PLS was utilize for data analysis. The results revealed that empowering leadership influence the counterproductive work behavior and person organization fit. The person-organization fit negatively influence the counterproductive work behavior, so therefore mediation role of person-organization fit was observed between the relationship of empowering leadership and counterproductive work behavior, similarly significant moderation role of organization overall justice was observed between the relationship of person-organization fit and counterproductive work behavior.
