Abstract

 

The main aim of the paper is to research the role of Microfinance that affects self-employment and income level taking into account primary source of data in rural level at Multan. The techniques used to collect the sample of 300 loaners include the use of interviews in Bahawalpur. Binary Logistic Regression method has been used to approximate the level of influence of the microfinance on of self-employment and income level model. The research finds that age and experience of the workers has a positive and significant effect on self-employment. Further, the variables of educational attainment and good health also have a significant and positive impact on the self-employment choice of the workers. According to the findings and arguments, the research recommends that the government should offer technical and agricultural education to the workers on basic and secondary level. It is also determined that health facilities would be offered on the colossal scale especially in the rural areas.
