Abstract
This study investigated the relationships among supply chain sustainability, dynamic capabilities, green process innovation, and firm performance, focusing on the moderating role of green process innovation. A quantitative research design was employed, and data were collected from 230 managers and employees in supply chain-intensive industries using a structured questionnaire. Descriptive, correlation, regression, and ANOVA analyses were conducted to test the hypothesized relationships. The findings revealed a significant positive relationship between supply chain sustainability and firm performance, highlighting that sustainability practices enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage. It was revealed that dynamic capabilities impact the firm performance more, and the role of adaptive, integrative, and innovative capabilities is of great significance in converting sustainability initiatives into actual performance results. Also, it was established that green process innovation is a strong moderator that reinforces the synergies between supply chain sustainability and dynamic capabilities and the firm performance. These findings highlight the importance of the combination of sustainability practices and organizational capabilities and innovation to reach high-performance in an environment that is dynamic and competitive in business. The research is important to the body of literature as it offers empirical evidence of the interactive impact of sustainability, capabilities, and innovation, as well as a workable advice to managers in need of improving the performances of firms using sustainable strategies.
