Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the future of human knowledge and education by employing a quantitative research design based on a descriptive survey approach. The population included students, teachers, and educational professionals. The sample was comprised of 260 individuals from this population, selected using simple random sampling techniques. Participants completed structured questionnaires, and the data was analyzed using correlation and regression analyses, as well as a Chi-square test. This study concluded that there is a positive correlation between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and learning effectiveness. AI has the potential to increase learning effectiveness by offering a more engaged and individualized learning experience. Regression analysis indicated that the use of AI was a key factor in the development of human knowledge through its role in making information more accessible, enhancing research, and fostering critical thinking. Furthermore, the results of the Chi-square test revealed that there was a significant relationship between level of AI integration and opportunities and challenges in education, which indicated its positive application and issues like digital inequity and ethical concerns in education. In conclusion, the results indicate that AI has a transformative potential in significantly shaping the future of education and extending human knowledge, but that it also needs to be understood within its ethical and policy context, to ensure its proper application in the future learning spaces.
